MAScIR TAKES PART IN THE GPIPR COOPERATION PROGRAM
Within the framework of the new bilateral cooperation program (GPIPR) in the field of intellectual property, initiated by the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, the MAScIR Foundation was pleased to receive on November 30, 2022, Ms. Nathalie HIRSIG, Deputy Head, Sustainable Development and International Cooperation, Legal and International Affairs, and Ms. Zeinab R. GHAFOURI, Project Manager, Sustainable Development and International Cooperation, Legal and International Affairs of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, accompanied by Ms. Bouchra BOUTALEB, Program Manager and Mr. Elias BOUHIA, Attaché at the Embassy of Switzerland to Morocco.
The primary objective of the GPIPR program is to support Swiss partner countries in designing an efficient and effective system for the protection of IP rights, in order to ensure economic development and to facilitate the implementation of the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights.
Thus, MAScIR presented to the honorable visitors all the solutions put in place by the Foundation for the protection of the rights related to its research and the management of its intellectual property through the registration and valorization of its patents.
